Music Ministry
| Music
is a very important part of Hope Community Church. We
believe that music can touch the soul in ways that words
alone cannot. For this reason, we include many varieties
of music in every service. We have a Worship Team that
leads the praise and worship portion of each service,
an Adult Choir which presents special music each
week, special music for offeratories, a Youth Worship
Team which hosts 'Thive Night' as well as other special
music and three musicals throughout the year. |

The only prerequisite for participation
in the music ministry here is a relationship with God
and a joy in presenting the Good News through song. The
Hope Worship Choir is comprised of people from all walks
of life. Some of our members have experience in the field
of music while having participated in Choirs and singing
groups in High School and College. There are also those
individuals who have never been a part of an organized
group.
You might call them,"Shower Musicians." The
combined talents of the Hope Worship Choir bring to the
table a mix of heart and soul singing. It's not a matter
of having a wonderful voice (although, it definitely doesn't
hurt). All you need is a willingness to learn and a heart
for the Lord.
The Choir performs three musicals a year
as an Outreach Ministry to our community. We offer an
Easter Musical, a Patriotic Musical and a Christmas Musical,
as well as presenting music each Sunday. Come during the
Morning Worship Service and make a joyful noise unto the
Lord.

Worship is more than a song. Our desire is to touch the
heart of God and bring glory to His name. Our Praise and
Worship Team is a group of dedicated individuals, who
enjoy leading God's people into the Courts of Praise.
Each member brings a variety of talents to the group.
Whether it's percussion, keyboards or guitar, our Praise
Band is "amped" to play for Jesus!
The Worship Ensemble offers a musical
message, through a blend of melody and harmony. Our main
focus is to offer up a holy sacrifice of praise to our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The prerequisite for the
Praise and Worship Team is to have a right-standing relationship
with Jesus Christ and to be a member of Hope Community
Church. Vocalists are also asked to support the Choir
Our Youth Worship Team is made up of
vibrant young people with a strong desire to use thier
instruments and voices to lift up Jesus in praise and
worship! Their music is fresh and alive with the
celebration of their love for God! |
